Youth Service America Grant
Every year, Youth Service America awards 100 Sodexo Youth Grants of $500 each to support youth-led service projects in the United States that address the issue of childhood hunger on Global Youth Service Day. Chelsea Mouton, the VP of Community Service at the University of Louisiana Lafayette Chapter, spearheaded the effort to apply for this grant. Central County Health Expo
The Central County Health Expo is an event held in Grove City, CA, where anyone can come to receive health care for free. In this tough economic time, not everyone has health insurance or can afford to see a doctor. At the expo, people are able to receive vision services, medical services and dental extractions and fillings.
