Beautification of Hudson Park
Cleaning up streets, parks and other public places is an easy way for SAL members to give back to their communities. The ASU Chapter did just that at Hudson Park in Tempe, AZ. At the activity, people from Faithful City Church and ASU came together to rake leaves, pick up trash, and clean the park so children can play in a safe environment. SAL's UCO Chapter recently had a holiday party to close out the fall semester. Each member brought a food or drink to share with others. They played board games and lounged around in pajamas. Operation Christmas Child
Members of the UNL Chapter of SAL recently took time during a chapter meeting to wrap shoe boxes full of Christmas presents for underprivileged children. The wrapping party was a huge hit and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun. Each person brought their own shoe box full of gifts to donate/give to an underprivileged child.
