Adopt-a-Campus
Giving back to the campus and community is important to SAL. To support this focus, our chapter at Emporia State University has adopted a designated area of their campus to clean. Members and officers gather to pick up trash on a monthly basis, and it is an easy way for them to participate in their local chapter.
Says Chapter President Marissa Grier of the project: “I think it is a great activity for our members to be a part of. It keeps our campus looking clean, and SAL’s name is displayed on a sign by the area, so it helps to get our name where other students can see it.”
