Breast Cancer Awareness
Florida International University SAL members joined with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to promote breast cancer awareness during the month of October.  Members sold baked goods, pink cancer ribbons, cotton candy, soda and t-shirts.  This event was very personal to many SAL members and officers, and they were able to raise over $400 to fight breast cancer.  ...

Weiner Fest

Kids Carnival
The members at Arizona State University volunteered at a children's carnival that was put on by New Horizon Performing Arts School.  The carnival was to help them raise funds for the 4th-6th graders to go to camp in the spring and to help the other school age kids to be able to attend field trips.  Over 200 people from the community attended.  The event raised over $1000 and the SAL chapter was able to be a part of making that happen! ...
