Color Me Rad 5k Run

Our Virginia Tech University Chapter recently volunteered at a local color run to benefit the Special Olympics! SAL members went out and helped spray color on the runners and distributed water during the race.

The main incentive for signing up as a volunteer was that for every volunteer that signed up and participated, 100 dollars was donated to the Special Olympics. According to Chapter President Julia Workowski, “It was unfortunately a rainy morning for the race, but it was still a ton of fun and very messy! The color we were using to spray on the runners was all over us as well, so a good time was had by all.”
