Volunteering at One of a Kind Pets
Members from our University of Akron Chapter contributed to SAL’s love for animals and for serving the community by recently volunteering at a local animal shelter.
They were ready to help with various activities assigned by the shelter’s director. These included cleaning cat rooms and organizing newspapers to line the animal cages. Of course, what trip to an animal shelter would be complete without also taking the opportunity play with the cats and dogs!
Chapter President Amanda Lafferty summarized, “This was a success and we plan to volunteer here in the future!”
