Food Fight Tabling
Murray State University’s SAL chapter held a very successful tabling event outside of Kroger grocery store. The officers asked permission from the store, set up a table in front of the doors, and asked people who were entering if they could donate some goods or money upon their exit.
The chapter only needed six volunteers for this event. Those members were able to collect 336 items and over $250 in a short amount of time! This was also a great way to get Sigma Alpha Lambda’s name out into the community.
“I would say this collection was a huge success! This goes to show how a few people can make a world of difference,” said Taryn Russell, Chapter President.
