Fundraising for Veterans
The University of Colorado Denver chapter used their baking skills for a good cause, preparing a variety of sweets ahead of time for the Rocky Mountain Fisher House Foundation fundraiser for veterans.
Joined by two guests, the chapter whipped up cupcakes, cake pops and oreos for the fundraiser. In addition to baked goods, the group also decorated hot chocolate cups. Over the course of two days, the chapter managed to raise over $200 for this very worthy cause!
“This small activity gave the opportunity to get to know everyone,” said VP Community Service Michelle Prince. “It was also a good bonding experience over decorating everything for the upcoming fundraiser.”
