New Member Welcome Ceremony
The Arizona State University Chapter held a Welcome Ceremony as a way for current members and officers to welcome new members to the chapter. Chapter Presidents Maggie Pingolt and Natalia Herrera used this opportunity to tell the new members what SAL is all about and share their plans for future activities.
25 new members came to the ceremony, along with family members and friends. Holding a Welcome Ceremony for new members is a great way to get new members plugged in and excited about what SAL is doing on their campus. Maggie Pingolt said, “I think the most valuable part of the evening was knowing that these students were excited about what lies ahead and interested in learning how to better the chapter and become involved.”
