Dance Marathon

SAL members at Arizona State University shook things up at Dance Marathon, a fundraiser to benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Participants stand for 12 hours and dance in support of the kids who can’t due to illnesses. The money raised helps provide services for those children and their families. In addition to dancing, members played games and listened to loud music to stay awake. They were also able to hear stories from the children who had benefited from the event.

This is the third year this chapter has participated in this event. Chapter President Natalie Chapin said of the experience, “It was and always is a great activity that goes to a great cause. Getting to see some of the kids and hear their stories is very rewarding.”
