With the school year over, now is an excellent time to work towards earning the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)!
The PVSA is an award dedicated to rewarding citizens who make a positive impact in their communities by volunteering. As a Sigma Alpha Lambda member, you are automatically eligible to earn this award as long as the hourly requirements are met.
SAL members must volunteer for at least 100 hours over the course of the current award period (August 1st, 2018-July 31st, 2019) to earn the PVSA. The award comes in three different tiers, with the tiers being separated by the number of hours logged. Depending on your age, you may need additional hours to earn a higher tiered award.
