This year’s SAL Bracket Challenge has come to a close, and we’re proud of the effort that SAL members showed in competing for a good cause.

First started last year, the SAL Bracket Challenge is a fun tournament that allows SAL chapters from across the country to compete with one another. The challenge encourages teams to utilize fundraising for their team’s Relay For Life fundraiser and social media in order to earn points.

Over the course of March and early April, 28 teams battled it out to be one of the final two teams in the challenge. In a repeat of last year’s finals, the New Mexico State University and University of South Florida chapters would emerge as the finalists. However, this year’s finals would play out differently, with the University of South Florida chapter prevailing in the end.

Thank you to all the teams that competed in the SAL Bracket Challenge! We can’t wait to see what next year’s event has in store!
