Combined Chapter Social & Service

Murray State University members and officers met at a local Dairy Queen to grab some ice cream, and then they made cards for the organization Cards for Hospitalized Kids.

Planning socials is a fun way for members to be able to get to know each other in different contexts, and some chapters also incorporate simple service projects into the time of mingling and (often times) eating.

Explained Chapter President Ashley Ciallella, “This was a great way for members to socialize before finals week, but also make an impact by making cards for hospitalized children around the country. Our members made more than 20 cards and they really enjoyed getting creative with the card making.”
