Blessing Bags
Members at Valdosta State University recently joined with Model Mentors and the Freshman Honor Society to assemble Blessing Bags for those in need!
Blessing Bags are bags that are put together that contain simple toiletry items that people in need may not always have access to. Volunteers formed an assembly line, passing the bag down as people put certain items in the bag. When the bag was filled, they wrote inspirational quotes on a piece of paper to complete it. They made over 100 bags to give out to the homeless and to give to people to put in their cars!
Chapter President Brya Cameron said of the project that it was a great bonding experience–especially with other organizations on campus!
