Polar Plunge

Members of SAL’s University of Wisconsin Whitewater Chapter jumped in at the local Polar Plunge event to help raise funds for Special Olympics!

SAL participants raised $320 through the help of their family and friends who were more than eager to donate to the Polar Plunge website. The plunge utilizes its funds to raise money for the over 10,000 Special Olympic athletes throughout the state. The entire group of Whitewater plungers were able to raise $30,339 to donate!

Chapter President Marie Fritz said it was “a very fun experience and we were able to raise a lot of money to support Special Olympics! We were definitely freezin’ for a reason!” Way to go, UWW members!
