Prairie Street Clean-up
The University of Wisconsin Whitewater Chapter wasted no time getting involved on campus this semester. Their first event was a street clean up where they picked up trash along a street on campus. The officers brought bags and gloves and met the members at a street corner to begin working.
Briea Newman, the chapter’s VP of Community Service said, “The turn out of members was excellent and everyone was extremely motivated. We picked up about one whole grocery bag per person and that side of campus looked phenomenal.” Everyone had a great time getting to know each other while doing their part to clean up their campus.
