SAL officers at UNC Chapel Hill are helping prepare members for a successful job search. They recognized the importance of a strong LinkedIn profile for college students looking for career placement, but knew it was difficult for students to afford professional pictures. Faith Moavenzadeh, VP of Leadership Development at UNC, shared her photography skills and used a professional camera to take free pictures of members in front of the popular “old well” on campus.
According to Chapter President Sarah Faulk, the event was a huge success for the chapter. “Members were thrilled at the opportunity to not only have their photo taken for free, but also have it taken in front of a background that holds sentimental value to all UNC students,” she said.
