Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The University of Central Oklahoma chapter pitched in to help in the fight against Alzheimer’s by taking part in their local Walk to End Alzheimer’s event.

The atmosphere around the walk was phenomenal, with participants paying tribute to those who have been impacted by Alzheimer’s by walking two miles. In addition to taking part in the walk, the chapter helped raise money for Alzheimer’s research. The chapter’s efforts did not go to waste, contributing $250 of the $950,000 raised as part of the event.

“I was proud of my organization for being able to walk and raise money to help those fighting for their lives and to hopefully find a cure,” said VP of Public Relations Ashley Rodriguez.
