Hiking for a Cause
SAL’s University of Arizona chapter used their creativity to combine fitness and service at a event. Chapter members met at Tumamoc Hill and hiked the hill together. Using the Charity Miles app, each member logged roughly 3.3 miles, the with money generated going toward Operation Smile.
“This activity really allowed SAL members to connect with one another, while enjoying the beautiful Arizona sunset,” said Chapter President Raman Kaur. “We also were able to raise money for Operation Smile, making this event even more meaningful!”
