Toy Donation for Hospital Children
The University of Alabama Chapter recently collected toys and made goodie bags during one of their chapter meetings, and some members then visited the DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to deliver the donations to the children’s wing.
The goodie bags that members made contained bubbles, pencils, and candy. The pediatric wing was so pleased to see all the brand new stuffed animals and they knew that the children would be excited to receive the various items.
Said Chapter President Ashley Greene, “The members’ donations will go a long way. These children are going to be so happy to see that people are thinking of them, and every child loves receiving a brand new toy to play with. Hopefully, this will take their minds off their illness, even if it is just temporarily.”
