Feed the Hungry
Giving back to the community is one of the top priorities for Sigma Alpha Lambda. Texas State University members did just that when they volunteered for the San Marcos Community Center’s Feed the Hungry event. Every hand was needed to help out at this event. Members directed people to tables, served food and helped to keep things running smoothly. Afterward, they stayed to help out with the clean up and tear down for the event.
Through this event, members were able to get a new perspective on how many people in their community are struggling and do their part to help those people.
