Dr. Seuss Fundraiser
The Montclair State University chapter got creative in organizing a fundraiser to raise money for future events. In honor of Dr. Seuss’ 108th birthday, they held a themed bake sale on campus. They decorated the table with bright colors and Dr. Seuss books and pictures. The colorful display caught the attention of students who stopped to buy cookies, cupcakes and water.
The members and officers had fun decorating the table and selling the baked goods to the students that came by. Rather than price all the baked goods, they asked for donations of any amount. Students were very generous and gave more than expected. The bake sale was very successful and the members were able to raise a lot of money for their chapter.
