This Fall, many SAL Chapters took advantage of their campus or community’s Halloween events as a way to do something for the kids in their community. The Mississippi State University Chapter participated in a carnival that was held on campus for the kids in Starkville.
Student Organizations came up with a game and held a booth for kids to come and win prizes and candy. The SAL members put together a booth for the carnival complete with a “Lollypop Tree” where kids could come and get candy. Chapter President Mercedes Allen said that the event was successful and “it was a great way to give back to the children in the community and have Sigma Alpha Lambda represented.”
