No ONE Left Behind

No ONE Left Behind is a campus wide event held at the Indiana State University to rally against sexual assault. Before the event, a Picture Day was held where pictures were taken of students with a “1” on their hands. According to Karen Brenner, the organizer of the event, “The number 1 represents that anyONE can be sexually assaulted and everyONE should be helped and not left behind.” SAL members showed their support for this cause by posing for a picture with a “1” on their hands.

These pictures were displayed at the No ONE Left Behind rally several weeks later. This event, organized by students, was to educate and increase awareness about sexual assault.
