Trick or Treat for Change
On Halloween, the Illinois State University Chapter used the holiday as a way to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. They participated in Trick or Treat for Change, an event put on by their school. Students dress in costumes and go door to door in their community to ask for monetary donations.
The members were split into groups and went together to ask for donations. All the groups were successful and, as a whole, the chapter raised over $1000! All of the funds raised will go toward helping Habitat for Humanity to build homes for families in need.
