Light the Night Walk
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society hosts the Light the Night Walk annually in cities all over North America. The walk is a way to raise funds to be able to research a cure and provide hope to those battling cancer. The George Washington University Chapter participated in a walk near them this year.
The Light the Night Walk is different from a lot of other walks because it is held at night. It was a cold fall night, but a team of SAL officers bundled up and came out to walk for a great cause. They walked the 2.5 mile track together and enjoyed a great view of the Capitol while getting to know each other.
