Cards for Hospitalized Kids
Florida International University SAL members made cards for children at their local Baptist Hospital. Their goal was to inspire the children in the hospital with their cards and to make them smile. The focus on this SAL event was to make an effort to show compassion to others.
Chapter President Meirah Lopez Carrion chose to organize this event due to her passion with philanthropy in the healthcare field. “I love the cause to brighten a kid’s day. We will definitely do this event again,” she said.
