Turkey Trot
Members and officers from the SAL chapter at Florida International University volunteered to help out with their school’s 22nd Annual Turkey Trot, a 3K walk/run, this year. Many students came out to support this fun event.
The SAL members set up a table on the race course with Gatorade and water so that they could pass out cups to the racers as they went by. After the race, they stuck around to help out with the many tasks associated with cleaning up, such as picking up the discarded cups.
