Trail Clean-up

Members at ETSU’s chapter joined together for a trail clean-up.  Students met at a trail behind campus and picked up trash along the trail and in a nearby parking lot.  They collected two bags of trash and an additional bag for recycling.  This was an easy way to serve the local community and get to know a few other members.

Callie Akers, chapter president, really enjoyed the event and said, “My favorite part was seeing how clean we could get the area. The trail itself wasn’t littered too bad, but the parking lot was full of trash that students have probably thrown out.  It made students think about respecting their surroundings.”
