Cradles to Crayons

The Boston University Chapter has made volunteering at Cradles to Crayons a yearly tradition. They get a group together and go to the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory to put together packages for low-income families in Massachusetts.

During a two-hour shift, the SAL members sorted through winter clothes such as hats, gloves and coats. They checked each item for quality and sorted them by size and gender. These items will later be put into packages which will also contain shoes, toys and books.

The work done by the SAL members was estimated to impact 189 children! The members were happy to be able to have a part in making sure children in their community have warm clothes to wear this winter.
