Leadership Opportunities

The most engaging and active leadership roles are filling the role of a Chapter officer. This is an opportunity to develop hands on experience in communication, project planning & execution, team building, and time management. Elections occur once per year, typically in early spring. 2014 Great American Clean-Up Day Valdosta State University’s SAL chapter is one of our newest chapters.  The Chapter President is currently building a membership base but hasn’t wasted any time representing SAL through local community service by recently participating in Great American Clean-Up Day.  This event, affiliated with Goodwill Industries of Southern Rivers, involved volunteers cleaning up the side of a local street.
