Toys for Animal Shelter
At a recent chapter meeting, members from SAL’s University of Georgia chapter crafted homemade dog toys to help support a local animal shelter. Members snacked on candies and cookies as they used old t-shirts to make the dog toys. Over the course of the meeting, members were able to make more than 25 toys.
“Not only was this activity a great way to de-stress and get to know each other better, but we ended up making over 25 toys for the local animals,” said Chapter President Melody Koo. “We will continue to make some more at our next meeting!”
