Coffee and Donuts with SAL
Students at El Centro College had the opportunity to learn more about SAL while enjoying free coffee, hot chocolate and donuts. Two tables were set up in the student center with SAL information on scholarships, our partnership with Wells Fargo, Relay for Life, and the President’s Volunteer Service Award. The tables also included SAL shirts and El Centro’s featured highlights. An officer was on-hand to answer any questions and provide students with where and how to join.
According to Chapter President Faith Akinmade, the event was a huge success. “Some of the students who came by left and came back with their friends. At the end, there were a lot more people who became interested and were ready to join. I cannot think of a better way the event could have gone,” she said.
