Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks Hiking/ Volunteer Trip
Members and officers of the California State University Fresno Chapter spent their Saturday on a hiking and volunteer trip at the Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. These members all joined together on a Saturday morning and drove to the national park to volunteer first by picking up trash for a few hours. After members finished picking up trash they spent more time in the park hiking some of the trails together and enjoying the nature and scenery.
All in all, the California State University Fresno Chapter’s participating members spent 8 hours together bonding and doing good for their community, as well as being able to see the beautiful nature within the park. Members had a great time and they felt as though volunteering to clean the park was a good experience for them.
