Breast Cancer Perfectly Pink Bake Sale
Florida International University Chapter members held a Breast Cancer Perfectly Pink Bake Sale on their campus on October 29th! Both students and staff members from Florida International University came out for the bake sale and were able to make a huge difference!
FIU members participated in this fight against breast cancer by setting up a table and selling baked goods, drinks, and pink merchandise as well as going out and looking for people who wanted to help contribute funds for research and treatment efforts through the Susan G Komen Foundation. They also demonstrated their commitment and participation by wearing pink on October 29th. This event was open to all FIU students, many of whom who stopped by to buy some pink hair bows, baked goods and beverages!
A total of $321.81 was raised from the Brest Cancer Perfectly Pink Bake Sale and the funds were all donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Great job, FIU members!
