Valentine Cards for Belle Maison
The members at Southeastern Louisiana University got together before Valentine’s Day to make cards for the residents at Belle Maison, a local nursing home. Each member handmade cards using paper, stickers, and lots of hearts! They were able to spend time getting to know each other as they decorated their cards.
The members made a total of 24 cards. The next week, a group got together to visit Belle Maison and deliver the cards to the residents. The residents enjoyed the cards and were excited to have a visit from the college students. This activity was a great way to bring a smile to someone’s face, and the members hope to make more trips to visit the Belle Maison residents.
