Each September, Sigma Alpha Lambda chapters take part in a impactful tradition by participating in SAL’s 9-11 Flag Memorial Event. First started by a former SAL president, the 9-11 Flag Memorial Event aims to provide students with an opportunity to honor those who lives were lost due to the events of September 11th, 2001.
This year, chapters from all across the country volunteered their time to create flag memorials on their campus, including our Binghamton University, Indiana State University, Kansas State University, University of Colorado Denver, and University of North Carolina Wilmington chapters, among others.
To all of our chapters who took part in this event, thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to do so. We’re honored to have members like you as part of Sigma Alpha Lambda.
