Lung Force Walk at the Zoo
SAL members from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee volunteered for the American Lung Association’s Lung Force Walk that took place at the Milwaukee County Zoo!
The chapter was assigned to work at the photo booth station, where they encouraged walk participants to get their teams together and pose for a picture. They were given a variety of props to make the pictures fun for everyone!
Chapter President Lauren Meyer said of the event: “Our organization had so much fun interacting with everyone that would stop by our booth! We all contributed–whether it was helping people set up their picture with props, stamping off activity cards, or capturing the moment! It was such a great community service experience to start off our school year!”
