Rake-a-Thon
University of Virginia SAL members participated in Rake-a-Thon to benefit Habitat for Humanity.
Members joined others in raking lawns in the greater Charlottesville area. They received payment for their services which were then given to Habitat for Humanity to build affordable homes. SAL was able to complete three yards during their time together.
“This was our first service event for the year and our first time doing anything together in a group since COVID and the prior year”, said Josiah Sims, Chapter President. “It was a fulfilling task and provided a great opportunity for us to get together.”
