This holiday season SAL’s USM chapter partnered once again with Association of Office Professionals (AOP) to provide food for the international students on their campus.
In anticipation of the upcoming Holidays, SAL USM and AOP collected desserts from the University of Southern Mississippi and greater community area for the international students at USM. This collaborative project was an effort to provide a sense of home to those far from their home. Thirty-five students received a dessert along with a note of thankfulness from the Hattiesburg community. They were also able to adopt an international group of students (i.e. a family) who received an entire Thanksgiving meal due to the generosity of the community!
