Sigma Alpha Lambda’s University of Southern Mississippi partnered with The University of Southern Mississippi’s Association of Office Professionals and Staff Council to collect donations for the Eagle’s Nest Food Pantry

Beginning October 5th and working through November 5th, members and officers worked together effectively in collaboration with their co-sponsors to collect non-perishables for their local food pantry. In just a few weeks they were able to collect close to 300 pounds of donations for the Pantry! What an amazing and meaningful achievement!

Vice President of USM, Jennifer Lewis, said that this was not only an effort to collect donations but also to increase awareness about the pantry amongst those who could take advantage of the services being offered to offset food insecurity during these trying times.

Thanks you USM and The University of Southern Mississippi’s Association of Office Professionals for making a positive impact in your community!
