First Chapter Recruiting Event!
We love it when a brand new chapter shows their SAL pride by getting the word out about SAL on their campus! Members at the new University of Southern Mississippi Chapter did just that at their school’s recent Student Involvement Fair!Going above and beyond to set up a very informative table, local SAL representatives were able to reach approximately 40 students who wanted to learn more about SAL as a local chapter as well as a national organization.
Chapter President Johnny Brumfield summarized: “As a new chapter on campus the involvement fair was the perfect way to get exposure. We talked to a numerous amount of individuals who showed interest. We described to them the different initiatives and events the organization participates in. We also talked about different scholarships the organization offers as well as internships. We obtained their information and carried on to discuss events coming up such as the kickoff meeting.”
