New Member Welcome Meeting
The University of Oklahoma Chapter is excited to start a promising new semester with many new members that have joined in the past couple of months. As a way of welcoming and honoring their new members, the chapter held a New Member Welcome Meeting which was attended by 61 of their new members.
The meeting was a way for the new members to meet the officers, learn about SAL and what we stand for, and hear about upcoming opportunities to participate in SAL activities. This was the first time that the chapter had held a Welcome Ceremony, and it was a great success! The officers have big plans for what the chapter will accomplish, and they were able to get the new members excited about all that SAL is doing at their school.
