Adopt an Angel
Sigma Alpha Lambda Members at UNCW spent time serving at an adoption fair at Petco ran by Adopt an Angel animal shelter! They helped socialize cats and dogs, who were festively decorated with Halloween collars. The volunteers also helped clean cages and talked to potential adopters.
This event was the start of a great relationship between UNCW’s SAL chapter and Adopt an Angel. The members will be going back before the end of this semester to help clean cages and spend time with the animals. Chapter President Brenna Gentile said of the event, “Everyone enjoyed the event and Adopt an Angel really appreciated the help. I’m most excited about the connection that was established between us and Adopt an Angel.”
