Blood Drive

Each school year, the Elliott University Center at the University of North Carolina Greensboro hosts multiple Red Cross Blood Drives. Drives are day-long events and are a great way to serve the community. Students are encouraged to come donate blood or to work as a volunteer. Our chapter at UNCG volunteered to help with one of the blood drives.

The UNCG Chapter regularly volunteers at the blood drives and does such a good job that they are requested to come back and help with each drive! At this drive, the members assisted with loading and unloading, greeting donors, serving donors in the canteen, and processing. As usual, there was a huge turnout of donors for this event, and many units of blood will be available to help those who need it.
