Walk to End Alzheimer’s
SAL’s University of North Carolina Greensboro chapter recently volunteered their time at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event.
According to chapter president Miaya Small, the chapter “assisted the event by cheering on the walk participants and directing them on where to go.” Miaya also added that she wishes for the event to become an annual tradition for the chapter.
“It felt very nice to be helping out an event whose message is to spread the awareness of Alzheimer’s and to raise money for Alzheimer’s research,” said Miaya. “Many of the participants thanked us for being there and helping out for this worthy cause.”
