SAL Tailgate
The University of North Carolina Charlotte Chapter held a SAL tailgate on Saturday, September 27th, for the Charlotte 49ers football game against Charleston Southern University, also using the activity as a way to collect food items for the SAL Food Fight Against Hunger!Members and officers set up a tent in the parking lot, sporting a SAL banner, and grilled some burgers and hot dogs while spending some quality bonding time with each other, as well as other members of the UNC Charlotte student body. They asked participators who joined in on the tailgating fun to bring two canned food items as a donation.
This was a great way to collect more canned goods for SAL’s Food Fight Against Hunger while having a great time getting to know each other and getting their SAL chapter noticed on the UNC Charlotte campus!
