Dress for Success
The University of North Carolina Charlotte had a great turn out when they attended a Dress for Success event at Macy’s. Eighteen members and 32 guests came out to participate. Dress for Success is an event put on by Macy’s where groups can come before the store opens to get professional makeovers and private shopping hours. This helped provide the Do’s and Don’ts of interview and business attire.
Macy’s provided one-on-one service with suit fittings for men, and measurements, style assistance, and make-up tips for women. Macy’s also provided 20% discount coupons for all who attended, a $50 gift card, and breakfast. Justin MacGregor, Chapter President, said that “everyone who went can’t stop talking about the quality of service, the tips learned, and the deals they took advantage of.”
