Operation Christmas Child Wrapping Party

Members of the University of Louisiana Lafayette Chapter donated gifts and helped wrap them for an event called Operation Christmas Child for the Samaritan’s Purse International Relief organization.  Operation Christmas Child encourages donators to pack a shoebox full of gifts to donate during National Collection Week and help make a difference for millions of children across the globe! Since it began in 1993, 100 million shoeboxes have been given to kids in over 130 countries thanks to this event. A small shoebox can make a big impact for a child!

Overall, 13 presents were donated from the University of Louisiana Lafayette Chapter. The event was very successful for the chapter and everyone showed much enthusiasm over it. Members and officers felt it was well worth doing.
