Game Night for Cancer Patients
When University of Iowa hosted a game night at their local Hope Lodge, Sigma Alpha Lambda members were excited to get to know the patients and spread cheer. Members went to Hope Lodge and played games with guests who are staying there while undergoing chemotherapy. Chapter President Emily Steinbach said this was an easy activity that is always a lot of fun. Hope Lodge is sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Each location houses patients receiving cancer treatments as well as a caregiver.
